Get Ready to Raise Your Hammer for Habitat Hannah

Dinner, music, dancing and special $99 room rates at The Don CeSar ... the Hammers & Heartstrings Ball promises to be a night to remember this September 25th. Just like the volunteers out at the worksite raising their tools to build, our Ball guests "raise their hammers"  and support our mission by bidding on auction items. She is a tiny little ball of love with the curly black hair of a poodle and the extra sweet personality of a maltese (That's Hannah in the photo at 8 weeks old). Extremely smart and easy to train, little Habitat Hannah will have a loveable personality. The breed tends to act like clowns, loving attention and people - check out the cute video of her. This little ball of love will be perfectly ready for her new home by the time September rolls around.

We wanted to update you on what we have planned for this year and hope you are as excited as we are with some of the changes we have made. Our event, which will be held on Saturday, September 25, will be located for the first time at the beautiful Don CeSar Beach Resort on St. Pete Beach.  Knowing that this location will be so much fun, we have contracted an exclusive room rate of $99 per night for Habitat Ball guests for the entire weekend.  So, why not spend the weekend at the beach? Just remember, in addition to your swim suit and flip-flops, pack your party dress and dancing shoes,  because we will be wining, dining, and dancing the night away Saturday night.

We guarantee that after attending this year’s Ball, you will leave with an unbelievable sense of joy and pride knowing YOU helped a family move out of substandard living conditions into a beautiful, safe and affordable home.  We strive to keep our event expenses very low.  As a result, 100% of all funds raised that evening go directly to Habitat.  So get ready to bid on some phenomenal live and silent auction items and help us build!
