Blitz Build 2012 Concludes with Moore and Okuboye Home Dedications!

Amidst a gentle drizzle of rain, the spirits of nearly 200 Habitat Pinellas volunteers and supporters could not be dampened as the home dedications for the Moore and Okuboye families marked the end of the seven day "Blitz Build" event.

Participating in the dedication ceremony were several representatives of Lokey Automotive Group (Moore family home sponsor)  and Publix Super Markets Charities (Okuboye family home sponsor).  Clearwater Mayor George Cretakos and Shirley Miaoulis of  Congressman W.C. Young's Office presented the homeowners with American flags.  Other dedication participants included Rick McElwain of Valpak, Gary Cook of Progress Energy, and Pastor Chris Bennett of Count It's All My Joy of Clearwater who delivered the blessing.

Many thanks to our prize drawing sponsor, WestCoast Kayaks & Paddle Boards of St. Petersburg.  Congratulations Will Annis who won the kayak!
