Habitat Pinellas Celebrates the Home Dedication for One of Its Own!

Friday, July 20, 2012

Habitat Pinellas staff celebrate home dedicationHabitat Construction Site Supervisor Jack Sutfin and his family received the keys to their Habitat home early Friday morning in Largo. The home dedication was attended by the entire Habitat Pinellas staff, Largo Mayor Pat Gerard, and several Sutfin family and friends.

Last year Jack, who has worked at Habitat for five years building homes for other struggling families, applied for Habitat’s affordable housing and qualified for the income and need-based requirements of the program. The family of four completed all 13 homeowner classes and the 350 sweat equity hours associated with the program before receiving the keys to their home from co-staff member, Charlie Ross, also a Habitat site supervisor.

Congratulations to Jack and his wife, Rebecca, and two children!
