Habitat Pinellas Named TBBJ 2012 Nonprofit of the Year Finalist

For the third consecutive year, Habitat Pinellas has been named a finalist for the annual Tampa Bay Business Journal "Nonprofit of the Year" award. Our President and CEO, Barbara Inman, represented Habitat Pinellas at the June 21st awards luncheon at the A La Carte Event Pavilion in Tampa, which had more than 400 people in attendance.

We were one of six finalists in the Family Services category, which included:

• Gulf Coast Jewish Family and Comm Services
• Meals on Wheels (Manatee County)
• Ronald McDonald House
• Success 4 Kids & Families
• Florida Center for Early Childhood

Congratulations to Success 4 Kids & Families, which won the Family Services category, as well as the overall winner award.  There were a total of 37 finalists in seven categories, and each finalist was honored on stage with a plaque and a brief photo and narrative presentation.
