Habitat Pinellas Unveils New Donor Recognition Wall

At an early evening reception for leadership donors on Thursday, October 18th, members of the Habitat Pinellas Board of Directors and Advisory Board unveiled "Building the Dream," a donor recognition wall recently installed in the entrance lobby of the Habitat ReStore and Administrative Office.

Habitat Pinellas President and CEO Barbara Inman welcomed the guests, and opened the ceremony with veteran Site Supervisor David Morris leading the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance. Habitat Board Chair Vicki Tylman acknowledged and thanked the donors honored on the wall.

The ceremony also included the inaugural presentation of two annual awards.  Paul Lokey, president of Lokey Automotive Group, received the "Partner of the Year Award" and Dan Stowers received the "Lifetime Achievement Award" for his in-kind engineering design service.  Congratulations to our award recipients!

On behalf of the families we serve throughout the county, Habitat Pinellas is sincerely appreciative of the leadership support of the donors included on the recognition wall.  The generosity, time and talent of not just our major donors, but of all donors and volunteers, make it possible to carry out our mission to provide the dream of homeownership to struggling, low-income families in our community.
