USA Today Article Highlights Energy Efficiency in Habitat Homes

Thursday, January 5, 2012

"Habitat Goes Green, Saves New Residents Some Green" features Habitat for Humanity's national emphasis on building low-energy affordable homes that result in reduced energy bills for Habitat homeowners. Habitat Pinellas has been dedicated to the "green" approach for several years and takes pride in the "win-win" result it provides for its homeowners and the environment.

Habitat Pinellas homes are built with high-efficiency windows and additional insulation, and are equipped with energy-efficient appliances. Our Habitat homes use considerably less energy than comparable new homes in the Pinellas marketplace.
