Lochner family volunteers to build affordable home for Habitat PinellasLochner family volunteers to build affordable home for Habitat PinellasWe love the positive energy that envelopes our build sites whenever we have groups come out to work with us!  Whether it's corporate employees, church groups, or even large families like the Lochner family, there is a strong sense of camaraderie and great enthusiasm abounds.

The Lochner family came out in late August, making their day of volunteering a sort of family reunion. "Team Lochner" included brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, who spent the day working on the Burgess family home in Clearwater with the prospective homeowner, Rafael Burgess, and Habitat Pinellas site supervisor Jack Sutfin.

"We enjoyed the experience immensely and hope to volunteer again soon," said James Lochner.

A million thanks to the Lochner family and to all the other groups and individual volunteers who come out to help us build affordable homes for struggling families in our community!
