More than 30 families are currently waiting to build a Habitat home. Your financial support gives these individuals and their children, a chance at a better, more stable life. If your heart is in our mission, please consider the following ways in which you can keep us building.

Make a One-time Gift Habitat is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that builds homes in partnership with families through the generous contriubutions from the community. Donate now.

Honor / Memorial Gifts You can make a gift in honor of someone and we will send an acknowledgement card to the person you designate. Donate now.

Become a Hope Builder - Keep Us Building Every Month Becoming a Hope Builder means that you are making a pledge to donate regularly to the Habitat mission. Monthly and yearly pledges provide a reliable source of income that allows us to build for more partner families. You designate the frequency and amount of your contribution. At the end of the year, you will receive a statement tabulating your yearly donations. Donate now.

Matching Gifts Many companies have matching programs which double individual, tax-deductible contributions made by their employees. Ask your HR department if they offer this program.

Planned Giving Unlike cash donations, planned gifts are typically made from assets in your estate rather than disposable income and come to fruition upon your death. A misconception is that planned giving is only for the "wealthy." The truth is, even people of modest means can make a difference through planned giving. Options include bequests, charitable gift, and charitable remainder trusts. You may also name us the beneficiary in a life insurance policy or designate Habitat Pinellas to receive your retirement fund residual.  (As with any deferred gift, we strongly encourage you to discuss details with your personal attorney or financial advisor.)

Stocks and Bond Gifts A charitable gift of stocks or bonds provides an opportunity for tax savings while generously sharing with others. A gift of stock owned for more than one year entitles you to a charitable deduction for the full market value at the time the gift is made. If the stock has appreciated, you also avoid a capital gains tax on the appreciation. In addition to helping Habitat Pinellas, you may diversify away from low-basis, long-term holdings into other assets that will better suit your current needs.

Land Donations Pinellas County is the most densely populated and developed county in the State of Florida. Securing affordable land for Habitat Pinellas home projects is challenging. If you are aware of a parcel of land in Pinellas County that may be donated to Habitat Pinellas or available for purchase, we would like to talk to you.

Cars for Homes You can donate your car, boat, camper or truck to Habitat Pinellas and help a family build the home of their own. Contact the Cars for Homes™ program.

In-Kind Donations Construction materials, tools, office equipment and office supplies are always welcome and relieve our budget. We appreciate donated services such as professional accounting, real estate and closing expertise, plumbing, electrical and HVAC contracting.
